What customers say?

“ This place is inside a foodcourt, so it's noisy, and the first thing I noticed is that this place is favored by foreigners and Filipinos who are just visiting the Philippines. How did I know that? They talked aloud one thing I noticed the rich filipinos here talk in english and loud bragging about their riches its funny because nobody cares. On to the food! I love my Halo-Halo. It's simple shaved ice with jello and fruits underneath. The dinuguan( pigs blood with pork, I know eew but you gotta explore) is a small serving, but it's good not to salty. it's just perfect I loved it. So if you dont mind the noise from the food court or loud people bragging about their pockets. You'll enjoy the food here and then leave because I kept rolling my eyes to the people beside me. ”

“ Located besides the food court and grocery of Landmark, Via Mare serves traditional Filipino fare. I love their Ensalada at Gulay, and always order the Ensaladang Pako. Unfortunately, it is not always available. I also like the simpleness of the Laswa vegetable soup. A must try is the Vigan longganisa, if you like filipino sausages. I have also tried the kare kare and I would order it again next time I visit. The servers are professional and courteous. ”

“ The Festival Mall branch of the Via Mare chain of Filipino restaurants. It's at the end of the Landmark Supermarket food court, so it essentially might be considered part of it (it's certainly an option for those looking for a meal here). But it has it's own separate area and tables, so it's basically a mini branch of the restaurant. It has the same good food as other branches, so I highly recommend it if you're in the food court looking for something to eat after some tiring grocery shopping, and want something healthier than fast food. ”

“ The bibingka & service are still what makes Via Mare worth going to. Yes, it's at the end of a fast food court, in a separate area, but it's in its own little corner. The waiters are still the sweetest & part of what makes Via Mare's special. They remember us & know what we like. They are very generous with their care. After all these years, the bibingka is still unforgettable. It is still the gold standard of bibingkas. The calamari was excellent, although a small portion. We will return for more & for my pancit lulog. ”

“ Arrozcaldo was good but could be better. I requested it to be served piping hot but received a fairly warm bowl that was easy to dig into. At the time, i was under the weather and needed the extra warmth and comfort of hot arrozcaldo. ”

“ Via Mare is one of those go-to restos for Filipino meriendas. Bibingka and puto bumbong are my regular orders—with the bibingka large enough to share. Afternoons offer a quiet environment for meetings and meet-ups that can double as an introduction to Philippine cuisine for foreign visitors and guests. ”

- Angela Vila -

“ Their dinuguan came highly recommended and sure didn't disappoint. Serving size is a bit small, and price is on the premium side. Overall 4.5 ”
